How this check works
Exact visitor counts for a website you don't own are simply not public — services that show precise monthly visits are estimating from panels and paid data partnerships. Instead of inventing numbers, this tool checks something verifiable: whether the site appears in Google's Chrome UX Report (CrUX), the public dataset built from real Chrome users.
Google only publishes CrUX data for origins with a meaningful volume of real visits. So inclusion is a trustworthy signal: page-level data indicates an established, consistently visited page; origin-only data indicates a site with moderate real traffic; and absence usually means a new or low-traffic site.
For exact numbers on your own site, use Google Search Console (search clicks) and an analytics tool such as GA4 or Cloudflare Web Analytics. For competitor estimates, commercial tools like Similarweb or Semrush model traffic from panel data — treat their figures as directional, not precise.

Because no free, legitimate source publishes them. Tools that display exact visits for any site are modelling estimates from private panels. This checker only reports what Google verifiably publishes.
